Job Opening: Full Time Executive Director. (posted March 14, 2026)
The Bond County Senior Center and Bond County Transit are hiring an Executive Director to oversee operations, staff, and programs like Meals on Wheels.

Role Responsibilities: Supervises 26 staff and 75+ volunteers, manages budgeting and QuickBooks reporting, and leads grant compliance for IDOT and other agencies.

Qualifications: Requires a college degree or 5 years of experience in aging/transportation fields, along with administrative ability.

Job Opening: Dispatcher. (posted May 7, 2025)
Looking for a part time transit dispatcher in a fast paced office environment. Responsibilities include daily trip management, demand trip requests, communications and record keeping. Must be able to multi task, have computer and telephone skills. 2 years customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of Bond County area is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid Illinois drivers license and clean driving record. A negative pre-employment drug test and accept being part of random drug testing pool is required.

We are looking for part-time CDL and non-CDL drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation services in and around Bond County. Drivers are required to have or be able to obtain a Class C CDL license with Passenger Endorsement. Knowledge of the area very helpful. Services based on customer demand, therefore, hours are approximate and not guaranteed. All drivers are required to go through a paid training period.
