Are you looking for a job that allows you to “go the extra mile” while also giving you the option of a flexible schedule and benefits? Driving for Bond County Transit is just what you’re looking for!
We are looking for part-time CDL and non-CDL drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation services in and around Bond County. Drivers are required to have or be able to obtain a Class C CDL license with Passenger Endorsement.
Knowledge of the area very helpful. Services based on customer demand, therefore, hours are approximate and not guaranteed. All drivers are required to go through a paid training period.
Job Opening: Dispatcher. (posted December 19, 2023)
Looking for a transit dispatcher in a fast paced office environment.
Responsibilities include daily trip management, demand trip requests, communications and record keeping.
Must be able to multi task, have computer and telephone skills. Knowledge of Bond County area is preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid Illinois drivers license and clean driving record.
A negative pre-employment drug test and accept being part of random drug testing pool is required.
